I've watched it happen over and over. Here's what I've noticed.
I didn't set out to build a wellness brand.
I set out to make a cup of cocoa I could actually feel good about drinking.
Growing up, Saturday mornings meant one thing — a gallon of homemade cocoa. Four times the sugar. Every week. It was warm, comforting, familiar, and we looked forward to it every single time. But as I grew into adulthood, those cocoas didn't love me back.
So I did what I always do. I started reading labels. Asking questions. Looking for something better.
What I found wasn't on any shelf. So I made it myself. And when I finally took that first sip — rich, chocolatey, and genuinely nourishing — I thought: this is what cocoa was always supposed to taste like.
It Starts With the Cup.
I took it to work. I drank it every day. And then I started sharing it with the people around me.
That's really where Fijn began. Not with a business plan. With a cup I couldn't stop making for the people I loved.
My first desire for someone drinking Fijn is this — I just want it to feel good for them.
The crisp mornings, the slower afternoons, the quiet moments that finally feel possible again. Fijn is easy to say yes to because it is cocoa. Something everyone knows.
But then something shifts.
You Start to Feel It.
I didn't design Fijn to be a treat you feel guilty about or a choice you have to justify. I designed it to be something that gives back to you.
Wholesome ingredients. Whole-body nourishment in every sip. With Fijn you never have to compromise — never have to choose between taste and wellness. You get both. Every single cup.
At first, people came to Fijn for the taste. That's still true. But over time, something else started happening. I think of one customer who was intolerant to most foods — someone who had very few things she could enjoy without consequence. Fijn became her treat. And then it became more than that.
It became her daily ritual. She has to have it.
That's when Fijn stops being something you consume and becomes something you choose.
Then It Finds Its Place.
My own Fijn moment is sacred to me. I find my spot. I breathe it in. I drink it slowly. No rushing. No multitasking. Just that cup and that moment — entirely mine.
Even on busy days — especially on busy days — I make a conscious effort to take it. It gives me a moment to see where I am. Reconnect with myself. Come back to what I truly want.
That's the Fijn Moment. Not a time of day. Not a recipe. A pause that belongs entirely to you.
And when you find yours — you'll know it.
Fijn fits!
Fijn fits your wellness goals. Your lifestyle. Your pace. The Fijn life you're actually living.
And Then the Quietest Thing Happens.
You stop deciding.
There's no moment of "should I order more?" or "is this worth it?" You just… reorder because it's yours now. Because somewhere between the first cup and this one, Fijn stopped being something you tried and became something you claim as yours.
That's the quietest thing. Not a big realization. Not a dramatic shift. Just a morning where you reach for it without thinking — and something in you feels exactly right.
That's exactly the Fijn I set out to create.
I want Fijn to be something classic. Not trendy. Something that lasts and hopefully goes on for generations. Something you'd order in a fine café on a crisp fall morning. Something that turns heads not because it's loud — but because it's that good.
There's a certain kind of person who finds Fijn and just… claims it. Not because they calculated the grams of collagen. But because something in them resonated with it.
Yes. This is me. This is how I want to live.
That's belonging. And I think everyone wants to belong to something that feels that elevated, that intentional, that real. Not something you stumble into. A life you choose. A Fijn Life.
Presence. Nourishment. Intention. Feeling good so you can do good.
My deepest hope — the one I've been working toward since I first stood in my kitchen reading labels and wondering if there was something better — is that Fijn becomes exactly that for as many people as possible.
I really, really hope it becomes a household name.
I think it will. ♡
